Today marks an incredibly important day in the history of Mogadishu, Somalia: the first ever meeting of the city’s new mayor, Duqa Muqdisho. This historic event marks a significant milestone for the city and its people, who have faced many hardships in their recent past. Duqa Muqdisho is a newly elected mayor, who is focused on rebuilding the city and creating a brighter future for those who live there. He has already taken many steps towards this goal, including launching initiatives to improve infrastructure and public services, as well as investing in education and healthcare.

Today’s meeting was the first step in his plan to bring the city back to life.

He met with a variety of representatives from different sectors of the city, including business owners, civil society organizations, and religious leaders. He listened to their ideas and concerns, and vowed to work together to create a better future for everyone. This is just the beginning of what promises to be a long and prosperous journey for the city of Mogadishu.
