This drought has caused millions of people to face extreme hunger and food insecurity.

In response, the Somali government, alongside international aid agencies, have launched a massive relief effort to help those in need. However, even with the help of international aid, the Somali people are still struggling to make ends meet. In order to help those in need, it’s important to understand and appreciate their culture, which is an integral part of their identity and survival.

The Somali culture is a unique blend of African, Arab, and Persian influences.

It is a culture built on family values, strong community ties, and respect for elders. It is also a culture of resilience, with many Somalis choosing to stay in their country despite the challenges they face.
